Here are a few excerpts:

Create Mixed Media by Tonia Davenport

“When  Jen Cushman first gave me a copy of her beautiful, self-published book,  Explore, Create, Resinate: Mixed Media Techniques using Ice Resin , I was excited to see what it looked like, though I have to admit, I wasn’t so sure I’d actually be creating anything with resin anytime soon because I’ve had less-than-stellar results with it in the past. But now . . .look! I’ve made something and thanks to Jen’s helpful tips in her book, I didn’t even mess any part of my project up!  Ice Resin really is a great resin, as I’m sure many of you already know and in her book, Jen really does a great job of explaining how to use the product with great success.”

Explore, Create, Resinate..."is spine-bound with glossy pages and a gorgeous, artistic feel. No “cutesy” captions here! It feels like you’ve walked into the most wonderful and amazing vintage curiosities shop the minute you open the front cover.

I think the book a must-have for any artist/crafter who wants to “explore” resin. It’s  straightforward enough (and the steps simple enough) for a beginner, but the projects look very advanced and certainly give off the air of “high art.”
